1. Acceptance

By using SnapHEIC (“the Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

SnapHEIC converts and previews HEIC/HEIF image files entirely within your web browser. The Service does not upload, store, or transmit the files you process — all processing occurs locally on your device.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only with files you own or are authorised to process, and not for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for the files you convert and how you use the output.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. While we aim for accurate, high-quality conversions, we do not guarantee that every file will convert perfectly or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Always keep your original files.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapHEIC and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, including any loss of data.

6. Trademarks

SnapHEIC is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. “HEIC”, “HEIF”, “iPhone” and other names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe compatibility (nominative use).

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
